The meeting was cowbelled to order at 1:20 PM by chapter president John Weinrich with 12 members and 5 Studebakers present.
Member Richard Snearly brought his newly acquired (from member John Krawczyk) '60 Lark VIII Regal 4-door sedan, the SOSO 2026 December calendar girl, having managed to free up the stuck parking brake on a tip from Peter.
VP and "acting" chapter secretary Peter read the minutes of the previous meeting, Colleen tendered the treasurer's report and president John W. again urged members to use the SOSO blog he set up.
Having had his name engraved on this year's plaque (thank you John O.) the Studebaker factory brick award was presented to this year's recipient Mark McCoy.
Peter reminded all present that the Keystone SDC chapter's raffle of a car, this year an Avanti with a second prize of $2000, was still underway with tickets at $10 each with the drawing in June.
We were also reminded that the May 2026 meeting will be held at 1PM on the first Saturday at Wild River Pizza and Brewing Company in Medford, hosted by Blake Ironside and that in June we go to breakfast meetings rather than luncheons.
Thanks to a submission to SDC publishing by our chapter president our meetings are now listed in Turning Wheels!
After a hearty and delicious meal, with orders for all 12 of us taken by memory by our server (how does he do that?!?) we adjourned to the parking lot for photo ops and to admire Richard's beautiful green well equipped (headrests, even) Lark.
