In just one week this beautiful 1940 Studebaker Commander Club Sedan will be headed to auction in Salem if not sold locally.

We at Studebakers of Southern Oregon would love to see this car stay in the area.
Steve Curry of Heritage Motors, the current owner, informs me that the car will have a reserve of $20K at auction.
He has also confided in me that he will accept at least 10% less if sold locally.
I drove this car quite a bit and it drives as beautifully as it looks. It is overdrive equipped.
It's Providence includes ownership by Ed reynolds, founder and longtime owner of Studebaker international, the world's largest vendor of NOS and reproduction Studebaker parts.
The car is partially preserved original and partially restored and 100% stock with the exception of radial tires and would be a fine addition to any Studebaker collectors stable.
